Overview

Information on assessing a puppy or dog from a group. There are tests to help determine the outcome of the sections – temperament testing that can be done by you or by others.

There is also choosing between male and female…or maybe you’re indifferent and it’s purely about the temperament.

You’ll want to weigh up the pros and cons. Balancing the odds with YOUR desire and assessing how far you are willing to compromise (and what on). There is always a risk and knowing what the risks are is important e.g. variation, unexpected characteristics, not being suited. You must be open to considering both the bad and the good otherwise you may end up disappointed.
